The courses and modules are suitable for beginner and intermediate hunters, as well as anyone looking to improve their knowledge of Australian hunting laws, safety, and practices.

No prior knowledge or experience is required. The courses and modules generally cover the fundamentals and builds up to more advanced concepts and techniques.

Learning Paths

The courses and modules are self paced, and you can access lessons in any order. Note however that some learning content has been ordered with linear progression in mind. It therefor makes sense to access lessons in the order they are presented. But it’s up to you, there you can make your own lesson plan if you wish, and jump ahead to a specific lesson.

The primary lesson material is delivered via a video lesson. This enables us to clearly and effectively communicate the learning material as well as being able to demonstrate practically.

Some lesson also have a “lesson notes’, a basic outline of the learning content for those who wish to learn this way.

Lesson videos and notes are embedded in the website and only available through the website, this is to prevent people from accessing the learning material who haven’t paid.

However, some lessons do contain complimentary resources specifically designed to be downloaded and used outside of the website.

Each of the courses and modules are different lengths, indicated on the course/modules page.

Technical Requirements

You can access the learning content on any device with internet access, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

No special software is required. All you need is a web browser and a stable internet connection.

Payment and Refunds

We accept all major credit cards.

Yes, all payments are processed through the STRIPE payment gateway with encryption to protect your data. Credit card information is not stored on the Hunting Courses Australia website.

If you experience technical issues that cannot be resolved, you may be eligible for a refund. Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase.

Inline with Australian Consumer Law refunds are not available for ‘change of mind’.

Certification and Outcomes

Yes, you’ll receive a digital certificate of completion that you can print or share online.

There is no formally accreditation for hunting education in Australia. However, the courses we provide aligns with Australian hunting standards and best practices and completion of a module provides access to a certificate of completion.

Course Updates and Access

Yes, you’ll have access to any updates made to lessons you have already purchased at no additional cost.

Additionally have plans to continue to release new learning content in the future.

Yes, you can revisit any part of the learning content as often as you like.

Enrolments are non-transferable, as each account is personalized.

Shared account activity is monitored and if discovered may result in deactivation of your account, and loss of access as per our terms and conditions.

The course provides foundational knowledge to support firearm license, permit and firearm safety course applications, though specific requirements for these courses vary by state.

Students who complete learning content are encouraged to connect with hunting educators and guides via Hunting Trips Australia, Australia’s best location to find hunting guides and educators.

Students are also encouraged to become a member of the Australian Hunters Club so that they can become part of a wider hunting community which can offer tailored support and connections.
